Named “Economic Impact Business of the Year”

“Giving back to the community is an essential component of running a successful business,” Maria Diltz, executive director of the Delphos Chamber of Commerce told the near-capacity crowd at the Delphos Eagles Lodge. They were gathered Saturday evening, February 29, for the annual Delphos Area Chamber of Commerce Dinner.

Among the special awards winners was D&D Ingredient Distributors, Inc., honored as the Economic Impact Business of the Year. Accepting the award on behalf of D&D was Joyce Schimmoller, office manager.

“On behalf of the D&D family of businesses,” Schimmoller said, “we want to thank the Delphos Area Chamber of Commerce, its Board of Directors, and members for this meaningful recognition, for this wonderful event, and for the work you do throughout the year to highlight Delphos as a great place to live, work, and play.

“We love being part of this area’s growth,” Schimmoller added, “and look forward to a successful future for the great businesses and people of the Delphos area.”

“Congratulations,” Diltz said, “to all of the businesses nominated for all of the awards tonight. We appreciate you continuing to serve Delphos and our surrounding areas, offering us a wide array of options for keeping our business local.”
