Rail Transloading Expansion
Adding capacity for up to 25 more rail cars
In July, D&D will complete a construction project that significantly expands railcar-to-truck transloading capacity.
Our main Delphos, Ohio campus features three transloading locations, served by the CFE (Chicago, Ft. Wayne and Eastern Railroad). These facilities are uniquely positioned to transload virtually any commodity in a safe and efficient manner.
D&D has the capability and necessary equipment for both hopper and pneumatic railcar-to-truck transloading.
In addition, our commodity storage facilities — including upright bins of 100-ton capacity each, warehouses, and van trailers — provide flexibility and convenience for storing the commodity short-term or long-term.
Also, using D&D to transload bulk ingredients has the advantages of efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and time savings. We work with both feed and pet food manufacturers and can develop a tailored program to meet your specific needs.
